This innovative approach avoids humeral interference during external rotation and provides improved control of glenosphere eccentricity, allowing precise alignment at the desired clock angle. The inserter accommodates both standard and lateralized glenospheres, securing them firmly for impaction or screw-in fixation. Its slim profile enables easy withdrawal from the joint after implantation, minimizing disruption to surrounding tissue.

What size of glenosphere is the SEGI™ compatible with?

The SEGI™ works will all glenosphere sizes (32 – 46 mm). It is recommended to purchase the SEGI™ 33-38 mm and SEGI™ 39-44 mm to properly accommodate all glenosphere sizes.

Will the SEGI™ work with all glenosphere brands?

Yes, the SEGI™ is compatible with all glenosphere brands.

Can you use a SEGI™ for 1 to 2 mm smaller or larger than what is stated on the instrument? (i.e. 32 – 39 mm for the SEGITM 33-38 mm, or 38 – 46 mm for the SEGITM 39-44 mm)

Yes, the SEGI™ will hold it well. However, you may need two hands to clamp it down.

Can the glenosphere pop out of the SEGI™?

No, not if put on correctly where the back flanges line up with the back of the glenosphere.
Ensure that you or the assistant always attach the glenosphere correctly per Tullo’s instructions and educational videos.

Can the SEGI™ be used for both left and right shoulders?

Yes, the SEGI™ 33-38 mm SEGI™ 39-44 mm are universal for both left and right shoulders.

Are any additional materials or supplies required to use this device?

No. The SEGI™ can be added to any orthopedic surgical instrument set and used as needed.

Is Tullo FDA registered?

Tullo is an FDA-Registered Medical Device Establishment (registration 3030861184). All devices are developed in accordance with 21 CFR Part 820 and ISO 13485:2016.

Is this device available in Canada or other countries outside the US?

The SEGI™ is currently available only in the US, but we are in the process of approvals for additional countries. Please contact us to advise on your country and you will be the first to know when approval is complete.

Can I purchase bulk orders of this device?

Yes. We are able to accommodate orders of any size. Delivery times may vary based on inventory.

What is the typical shipping time once I place an order?

All Tullo orders are shipped via courier and typically arrive within 3 – 5 business days. If you require rush shipping or a specific shipping provider, please contact us and we will do our best to accommodate.
